• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Anyone got the "How Blue Can You Get " album from G.M yet?
The inlay page on the vinyl shows "Greeny" in a les distressed state that i have seen.
i take it , it is the proper guitar but an early picture and not a replica?

Whatever it is, its not Greeny. Maybe its a Collector's Choice model, a Historic with different knobs and the neck pup flip-flopped, or a replica. I'm pretty certain that all CC's came with a pickguard installed so it rules that out, the inlays appear to be pre-2003 Historic inlays, but its hard to tell for certain. Something about the body shape looks a little off, so I'm leaning towards it being a replica.

That's a Gibson Custom Shop artist proof of collector's choice number 1 that Gary owned. It's not Peter Green's burst.

That's exactly what I was thinking @madformac . (y)

Glad I saw this Thread. I didn't know that there was a new release? Bought it off iTunes today and listening to it now. Typical GM stuff; EN FUEGO!!!!
