• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Awesome guitar and pictures. Would you mind describing the technique you used to take these photos?

Thanks guys! :headbange

LPNorth, it is a Murphy. It was painted before he left - I checked the date with Gibson. :)

KOTR, the technique used is simple. I put a black throw under the Les Paul and used a decent enough camera (in this case a Canon PowerShot SD990 IS). The camera is set on ISO 200 with auto flash. I take the pictures at a resolution of 9 MP, which I shink down to 1024x768 using Paint Shop Pro. No touch ups, contrast or color changes. :jim
