• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

The most sought after of all Historics? Even the circumstances leading to their discontinuation add to the collectability of these, let alone the fact that Gibson won't talk about them. And the icing on the cake - they look amazing! I'm not surprised that the existing few don't surface very often, even considering the low numbers involved. I wonder if any had braz. boards? That would be the cherry on the icing!

I don't believe any were braz but I'd love it if BurstMeUp would chime back in on here...he seems to be the go-to guy on these rare birds.

One I own has a Brazilian board (2003), and the one I purchased in 2004 does not. The one that has a braz board does not appear on the Gibson braz list either.

Thanks for the info. This run was a great concept for BOTB fans, just a pity that Gibson didn't consider the implications first. But at least a small number of guitars got out.

Wow. How do you know it's braz?
