• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Ive wanted a Rick for years, decades even but just never pulled the trigger on one. Finally I decided I needed to have one but which to pull the trigger on?

Midnight Blue 350V63. And extremely well made. Totally enjoy it with Pyramid FW strings.

Congrats! Welcome to the Ric club.

I was kind of in the same boat - I had wanted a Ric for years, but never pulled the trigger. So a few months ago I spotted this mint 2015 Fireglo 360/6 for a great price, and just couldn't resist!

Such a nice one Telechamp! That was one of the contenders I was (and am still) looking at for sure. Mine was new but was made in 2015 also. Great neck for a Rick. About as wide as a Strat neck for the first five frets or so and then it doesn't get a whole lot wider but it's got a great shape with a medium thick profile. I saw an early 90s 360/12 the other day and considering its a 12 string I was surprised to find the neck much narrower than the one on my 350. The last new 360/12 I played from 2009 had a very similar neck to the one on my axe now. About the only negative I can find is the way the three pickups on mine are wired. It's bridge, bridge-middle-neck and middle-neck and the little knob sort of blends in the middle and neck pickups some how. Doesn't really work that well. I'd much rather the neck and bridge pickups were wired to the three way with the middle pickup to the small knob to blend it in by itself with either of the other two. I've switched to EB Power Slinkies to get the snap back on the wound strings the Pyramids smoothed over too much. 11s feel like butta on this guitar and they sound good IMO.

Thanks, Slammin'. I had always wanted a 360 Fireglo, and when I found this mint 2015 for a great price last year, I just had to pull the trigger.

The neck on mine is perfect - not a thin neck at all - I'd say it's a medium profile. I took it in for a set up after I bought it, and had it set up with D'Addario 10's. Original owner had the action way too high. Now this Ric just feels perfect.

I use the blend knob way more than I thought I would - I think this little knob is kind of the key to getting your tone with these.

All in all, I couldn't be happier with mine. And I love that Midnight Blue 350V63 of yours.. It's a beauty!

Here are a couple more pics of my 360/6 - -
