• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

On the way. Should have this on Thursday.

After a visit to Songbirds museum in Chattanooga yesterday, I can't get 'bursts off my mind.

I saw it appear briefly on The Gear Page. I asked about it and the ad disappeared!?!?

I contacted the seller and made an offer, asking if he still had it for sale. He replied the he did. He answered some questions. More pictures.

Purchase made!!

That's a 2010. I have a 2000 serial # 9 0503. Crazy how they recycle every 10 years.

Technically, the serial says it was made in 2010. The Gibson customer service says it is a 2009 Ltd Ed as the COA says. The guy said it was really common for a year model to cross over the calendar.

Either way, it is on par, maybe better, than my 2016 R9.

I like that type of smaller squiggly flame, kind of like Pearly Gates! As you can see here my R0 is that way...

Looks like my R9. Very nice. I love the color and tight flame. My wife actually picked mine out because "it was pretty". When I heard it I grabbed it the next day.

Thanks for all the nice words.

I have another R9 and many other nice guitars. But this one really seems special. I can't put it down. The upside is that I am putting in a lot more playing time. That is a good thing since I retired from Live music after 27 years of non-stop gigging. This guitar is making me want to get back out there. :hee
