I had put in a M2M order for a '54 LPC back in March (alpine white top, plain back, with a white stinger) but saw Wildwood posted an ebony '54 Wildwood Spec Reissue and ran over to the shop to try it out. Didn't need to wait another 1 1/2 years for the M2M when this one did the trick and canceled the order. Sorry for the downloaded pics, but I couldn't do better. (Unlike the 1st pic, I did change the white switch tip to the aged one). The staple neck has a huge range, and the I think the carved mahogany body must bring out the mid-range in the P-90 bridge. Would have preferred a gloss finish to the VOS, but I think it works with the yellowed binding. (It can also be buffed out.) Also picked up the CME Special Rosewood neck Jazzmaster a few months ago and having lots of fun with it; it's a really versatile instrument with a bit darker tone than I usually hear from others.
