• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Just got my new Epi Junior a couple hours ago (thanks, Sweetwater!!)
Early thoughts are that it's great. Maybe a bit heavier than I expected, but still not as hefty as my Les Paul, but a bit more than my SG.
Fit an finish are spot on, as good as I could hope for from an instrument at 10 times the price.
Neck is huge - but I like that. Probably the biggest one I have at this point.
Couple pics, plus one of the other P90s in my arsenal - PRS SE Soapbar 2 and Gibson ES135 (technically P100s in there but still...)

Now I just have to decide on a strap |(the one on it now is borrowed from another guitar - what would look better, black or brown...

That's great! I'd choose a fairly plain strap, probably black, for a guitar like that.

So I got the strap for it. I was looking at a couple others - I wanted something a bit more distinctive than the plain ones.
I saw this and liked it, thinking in brown for one of my other guitars. The one I had in mind for the Junior ended up being too short (I like my guits down around the belt buckle.) and saw this one on discount. LM Viking series.
I'm liking the guitar more and more the more I play it. My LP roars, the SG screams, and the Junior snarls. The only thing I think the pickup is a bit lower (further from teh strings) than ideal. I may need to dig into it a bit to see if it can be raised. I haven't had a chance to do so. (I want to play the guitar, not turn a screwdriver....)

Those are pretty nice - though it'd be tough spending 2/3 of the price of the guitar on a strap.
Don't know that I dig the snakeskin thing, either, (he says, ignoring the amp to the left in the pic in white snakeskin (or faux, never been sure on that)

A $200 handmade custom strap isn't "2/3rds" the price of a guitar unless you buy $300 guitars.

Well, that's what this one was... well, 379... so closer to half.
If I was looking at a vintage instrument, or custom built / custom shop, then that price tag wouldn't be as much of a burden.
