• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

I'd been on the look out for an American Blonde Tele for a VERY long time.

I'd almost given up when I happened into a pawnshop this Friday and found one. After some back and fourth haggling, I ended up with a KILLER deal on my new (used) 2011 Fender 60th Annv. Blonde Tele.

This guitar feels, sounds, and plays great without a setup, but I'm going to get it set up proper this week. Anyway, here's some pics.

Shame about the bridge... Once you get the ashtray and three saddles, you'll be golden.

Looks good to me, nice body wood grain, bridge saddles don't bother me, but that pickguard has to go.

Yea, I guess when you buy used, you take it like it is. Might need a blackguard to make it look right.

WOW!!! I that yours? I now know what mine will look like after a few years of stage work. It really ages gracefully.

Thanks for the pic. Wilko.

That's my 1973. I did the refin in nitro over the poly. That's why it's flaking off like that. Looks great in person, though technically how a Fender usually ages. It looks like a 50s body, but "feels" like 70s. Hard to explain.

I got to admit that the refin looks AMAZING. If that was a Fender Custom Shop "Relic",they'd be moving a few of those. KILLER guitar.I really do hope mine wears like yours.
