• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Happy Year!
I traded a couple of amps for this new sunburst.
So far I like it. I like it a lot.
Finally scratched that itch and got a Gibson.
Now I need another tube amp. But she sounds good though my little Code 25.
Setup is good. Workmanship on this unit is top notch. I’m happy.

I put new strings on using the over the top of the tailpiece method. Stays in tune much better. I like it because the strings don’t have such a steep angle between the tail piece in the bridge.

Next time try this topwrap trick: Cut the little rings from your old strings and put them on your new ones. This keeps the stringwraps seated inside the tailpiece and not on the tailpiece, It'll save your hand from getting cut and is easier on the tailpiece itself.
