Hey all,

Just last week a guy wanted my 11 R9 for a TH58. Couldn't say no.

No pictures for now but I hope the video finds you well.

Enjoy and cheers!

Thanks Stow :) Means a lot.

The True Historic feels more different than it does sound different- but with a marshall on 10 and a fet driver of some sort negates the audible differences I guess.

I'm happy with the choice and I grab it everyday unlike the previous R9...funny things guitars.

I hate you!

If you broke 3 fingers on your left you would still play better than me!

AWESOME STUFF BRUV!

But just remember this: 'Even if you keep practicing you will never play like I do...'

Thank God...

Oh ren, my gf tells me I need to play less notes- she would surely agree with you :p :laugh2:

You're probably familiar with the 15 TH58s as well- how do you find them?

I briefly held a burst when I was 15- larkstreet NJ (in seoul, korea now)

This is awfully reminiscent of that one in both feel look and sound.

I love your playing ,and your tone . I believe that you can never play enough notes esp. when you play so beautiful . A relative of mine is always saying guitarist play too many notes and he likes to hear the singers more which I want to hear more extended solos as I grew up in the era of Clapton/Cream and I can't get enough notes when they are played so well and a guitar can sing much better than a vocalist .

Ah thanks Froggie. It's always about the tone isn't it? :)

Good stuff, brother... As usual... :salude

Thank you so much- I've been meaning to say, I love your guitar. It's nice to have found the one. It becomes more than an instrument in some ways.

I wish I could say I grew up in that era too but alas what I know is only retrospective.

More notes, less notes, it's all about texture- making the notes sing. Otherwise we'd just do everything on macbooks and keyboards. I love the guitar for it's tactile feel and the little inflections that I can wring out of it.

OTOH, I noticed you were having troubles recently with a guitar- did that get solved?

I was (and am) VERY impressed with the TH beasts.
Had I the coin in 15 my whole collection would have had a TH in every spot as well as the ones I have.
I think they were by far the best thing Gibson put out.
I had a guy show me a TH8 he thought was a clinker.
In about 2 minutes with a screwdriver it FRIGGIN' SUNG.
My wife put the skids on TH AND HS's though.
I did snare a TH6.
The TH(and by substitution HS) P90 versions they had out at that time were maybe even better...

Thank God I never got my hands on a Brazilian.

Enjoy the pics guys. Have to get it refretted with larger wire soon. The TH has jescar 45100 milled down too low and I've already played it a lot that it's even more low and my fingers are dragging across the wood more than I'd like.
