Last weekI finally got a chance to take out and drive my summer car! I'm a little late this year as I usually try to have it out for my brithday at the end of March but there has been a lot going on for me.

Anyone else have their motorcycle or summer car out?

This is my 2013 Cayman S. I bought it brand new and ordered the color sight unseen. I'm a really bad photographer but the paint is really amazing to see in person. I had a 911 before this that I had gotten used and really liked it but IMHO this version of the Cayman is much more fun to drive and I actually like it better. I don't get to put a ton of miles on it every year but it's one thing that I really look forward to in the summer and last year with Covid taking it out for long drives really helped fight the blooze.

Anyways, if anyone else has a cool vehicle let's see it!

My Mustang isn't as fun as a Porsche, but it is still a blast to drive. Summer tires about to go on and all-season back in the shed until November. The summer tires are on black rims.

I absolutely love it. I always used to be a Vette guy, but got rid of my last one (a '66 big block coupe) a few years ago and made the switch to the Challenger. I have absolutely no regrets, and don't miss the Vettes at all.

I was at the Barret Jackson auction and those were zipping around a small track in back. Really loud and really fast. :)
When you buy one of these cars, you get (or at least you used to get) a free track session at the Bondurant Racing School (now called Radford Racing School), down in Phoenix, AZ. I upgraded to the three day program. What a blast that was! These cars are great on the track...a lot more capable than people realize. In fact, just recently having moved to a new state, which will require that I get a new license for the car (unfortunately), I'm thinking of going with the plate "LAPCAT", because of how much fun this car is on the track. Unfortunately, most of the other plates that I would prefer are long gone. BTW, Radford now offers sessions on the drag strip for this car as well, but I don't know if I'll ever make it back down to do that.

I tried to be creative for my plate, too...

I ended up with a GT for a rental in Dallas. I had always wanted to try one out so it was really cool. Originally I was supposed to have the regular convertible non-GT model but they were out of them so I got the GT. It worked out because it rained a lot.

Very fun car to drive! Was nice to get it out of my system!

This is my fourth Mustang. I had a '96 coupe, a '99 GT vert, a 2016 GT and this one. I switched to a Chrysler Crossfire Roadster between 2005-2016. That car was a blast to drive, if a little underpowered.

Wow, this car is absolutely fantastic! I hope I will buy Camaro SS one day. I am a student but I work a lot and have already saved some money. Sometimes I miss classes and order an essay online https://www.topwritersreview.com/reviews/buyessayfriend/ in order to make more money. I always do my best to achieve any goal so I just need some time to buy my dream car.

I swear I've seen that car before - the plate is a pretty dead giveaway.
Are you in the Metrowest area?

For me the closest I get is to dust off my bicycle, or leave the long sleeves off when I go running. Though helping my dad get his boat ready for the water may count|? He's not getting any younger, and bending and twisting in the hold isn't up his alley much anymore.

Thanks! The Camaro is also a very nice car. I seriously considered it before I bought my Challenger, but I just found the seats much more comfortable in the Challenger, and the back seat is actually usable (unlike the Camaro). I also liked the more retro look of the Challenger. And good for you going after your goals. I did the same thing when I was in school, but back then (around the time the electricity was first discovered), I was actually able to make quite a bit of money playing in bands, and bought my first Corvette by the age of 17. It's a far different world now, though.

It's quite possible that it was me that you saw. Up until this past December, we were living in Concord (MA), but have since moved out of state. I drove it a fair amount around Metrowest, so I don't doubt that you may have seen the car. It's pretty easy to spot (as is the license plate).
