• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

NOTICE: Forum downtime coming! New platform!

Dear LPFers:

We will be upgrading the Les Paul Forum from vBulletin to XenForo platform over the next few days. It is newer, more contemporary software, easier to post photos, etc. There will be downtime during the conversion. Please be patient with us! :dude:

Thanks - rough landing, and we’re not out of the woods yet. Patience is a virtue. :)

Looks great so far. I like having the "like" button, and making it easy to upload pics - no more third-party hosting needed.
|Is there still a link to The Fender Forum around?
and is that platform going to be switched over as well?

Thanks. Still having issues. Fender Forum will remain on vBulletin.

Thread View Tools. I like the idea of the "Jump To New" function but it doesn't seem to really do that. I, for one, like to see the most recent comment shown first rather than search for it, but I don't see the option available.

I do like the changes though. Thanks for all the effort!!

👍

A number of forums I belong to have moved to xenforo. None without problems. Some major, others not. There are a number of things to like about it and a number to hate. The Gear Page is pretty good, the AVS forum sucks, particularly the way they handled advertisements. As least now I can easily post using my phone.
