• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Thanks to my pal Vic Dapra for helping me acquire this wonderful piece of Gibson history. He held onto it for me till I could scrap up the funds. Cause' as y'all know, I am purchasing a Burst as well. So pulling this one off has been challenging for me. (You know, selling guitars and stuff) :hmm This is one clean, raunchy machine. It arrived Tuesday morning, so I went home at lunch and plugged her into my lil' Blues Jr and cranked. So for my lunch, I ate tones, and it was delicious. :yah The sticker-less PAFs are hot. No problem getting the overdrive to crank.

Lovely guitar.

It's funny, I've been reading your handle as Fred Okra for years....and now it makes sense. Fried is much better.

Love all the candy....and the humbucker tag too. Hope you love it.

Congratulations.

Very nice. Congrats. Looks just like mine.

Could be the photo, but looks like your ABR is sagging a bit.

Kris, Congratulations! You're bringing some incredible things into the Magnolia State. I know you've been moving stuff to make all this happen--hope that hasn't included your Firebirds. When you land the burst I'll be curious to hear your impressions about how it's tone compares to the GT, and the Bishop.
