• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

The New York Guitar Show & Exposition moved to a better, larger and easier to get to venue at the Freeport Recreation Center after our first show in 2012, which was the largest NY Metro area Guitar show in two decades. We saw 2013 was no different as we nearly tripled in size in only our second year with 2014 a success and 2015 was a huge a blow out with our Les Paul 100th birthday Tribute, the first in the country that year.

Now in our 6[SUP]th[/SUP] season, we are bringing back the Les Paul Exhibit by popular demand with Jim Wysocki and hopefully Lou Pallo as well. As we did in Les’ 100[SUP]th[/SUP] birthday tribute, the public is allowed inside the Les Paul Exhibit booth to actually sit and play Les’ personal guitars and amps!!

We’re selecting sponsors for the event and still have a few select booths available for exhibitors where you’ll have a unique opportunity to meet large numbers of consumers in the guitar and music industry directly one on one. The NY Guitar is a pipe and drape show, and does not have the “flea market” look nor atmosphere.

The 2017 NY Guitar Show & Exposition at the Freeport Recreation Center, 130 E. Merrick Rd. in Freeport, NY on April 22 & 23, 2017 features new, vintage and used instruments & amps, local dealers/music stores, custom builders, pedals and major manufacturers. For show info www.nyguitarexpo.com. Follow us on FB at NY Guitar Expo or Twitter at #nyguitarexpo

We'l be posting updates form time to time to keep folks informed or sign up for the free newsletter on the site. thanks..

Those of you that have not exhibited before but have heard all the nice things about us, how we run our show, the amount of money we spend on advertising and the tight ship I run…I would ask of you to contact any of our current vendors and inquire about the NY Guitar Show. For example;

“My first time setting up at the NY Show in 2016, very impressed with the organization and attendance. I'll certainly be back!” Noel Ebner / CNY Guitars, NY

“Each year the show gets better and better with a bigger crowd and more energy. It's great to have a guitar show in New York, the greatest city in the world!!” Howie Rivington, Rivington Guitars NYC

“This is a well-run & well attended show with great deals for both buyers and sellers. I look forward to it every year!” Scott Gramlich/ SG Custom Sound

Homestead Amps Signs The Rev. Billy F Gibbons

The NY Guitar Expo is proud to announce our sponsor Homestead Amps has a new family member joining the ranks of Homestead Amps users, no other than the Rev. Billy F. Gibbons of ZZ Top fame!

Homestead Amps is growing leaps and bounds with this latest artist to join the Homestead family along with the latest guitarist to catch the guitar industry's attention - Marcus King.

Homestead has gone into pedal production with a germanium boost called the Homestead Undertaker and also a germanium fuzz called the Homestead Preacher. Look for the new urban sized combo which is the size of a tweed Champ but giggable!!

Homestead Amps will be the sole sponsor of the NY Guitars Show’s Amp Room at the 2017 Show. Attendees will be able to sample several of McMahon’s creations and play as loud as they want!

“We are truly honored to be a sponsor of the 2017 NY Guitar Show & Expo,” Homestead founder Pete McMahon said. “We launched here at 2015’s show and it will forever hold a special place in our hearts. There’s no shortage of incredible people here to support their crafts and passions, which makes all the difference in the world. Homestead walked away from this show with many new friends and colleagues, and cannot wait to see what’s in store for this year!

"The show has become a fan favorite with our well-rounded guitar show with vintage gear & guitars, retailers, manufacturers, private collections etc, all so anyone walking through the front door can participate in some way large or small," said Johnson.

About Homestead Amps: Created in 2014, Homestead Amps are bold, tasteful, and leave a lasting impression on any musician that plays them. Now building for the likes of Warren Haynes, Jay Jay French, John Prestia, Dirk Miller, Deren Ney, Adam Gorman, Tyler Anselmo, Jorgen Carlsson , Bobby Kyle and Linwood Taylor, Haynes has been a long time user, inspiring McMahon to design a line of amps to suit the particular tone of Haynes’ signature Gibson Les Paul sound. McMahon’s launching of Homestead Amps is to create highly desirable pieces suitable for anyone and everyone. No matter what the customer wants, whether it’s for a studio, club, or stadium, Peter can and will create it. www.HomesteadAmps.com

D’Addario Guitar String Giveaway at NY Guitar Show

The NY Guitar Show & Exposition announced the first 50 paid attendees each day receiving a FREE set of D’Addario Guitar strings.

“This is wonderful,” show founder Richard Johnson says. “A world renowned Long Island, NY company, stepping up and offering the first 50 paid attendees both days of the show, a free set of their new NYXL Electric Guitar Strings or the Nickel Bronze Acoustic Strings.”

D’Addario says, “The NYXL guitar strings bend farther, sing louder and stay in tune better than any string you’ve played before. This newly engineered, break-resistant, high-carbon steel core and plain steel alloy delivers a whole new level of freedom, confidence, and power. NYXL’s provide more strength and up to 131% greater tuning stability by utilizing a completely reinvented wire drawing process coupled with a revolutionary “fusion twist” process for the plain steels. The reformulated nickel plated string windings have greater magnetic properties resulting in higher output and enhanced mid-range frequency response for more presence and crunch.

About D’Addario: D'Addario & Company, Inc. is a family-owned & operated business with roots dating back to the 17th century and 1,100 employees worldwide. They are the world's largest manufacturer of musical instrument accessories marketed under several product divisions.
