• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Oh my GOD. THE most beautiful Les Paul!

Just awful. Too dark and lousy figure. No wonder it is a one-off, the factory was too embarrassed to build another! This has been up many times on the "Bay" and is very, very, very overpriced. Offer him 1350. tops...

I kinda agree with the "too dark". But I thought it was due to the photo,,,?

I'm a purple-freak. And yea, maybe I over-reacted a bit with tis post...

:lol2

But it certainly is a stunning Lester in my book!

I'd probably trade my PRS and my Studio GEM for it!
But I have to agree that $3k seems high on the price.

not too much of a "flip-flop" there:lolspin

Flip-flop?

Let me re-phrase.....

It does look a bit dark in the photos. But I believe it is the lighting making it look that dark.

I stated that I'd trade a $3800 (retail) guitar and a mint Studio GEM for it. Just the fact that I'd even consider parting with my SWEET PRS is a testament to my sencerity.

$3k is a lot for a used non-vintage Lester. Period.

Now, a question....

Are the fret inlays on that guitar abalone? Pau? It's certainly not the same material used in standard Les Pauls...

Isn't that guitar more commonly known as "Barney"?

I really dig the guitar!!!

Maybe a little expensive, but I don't know these new guitars...

Purple with curl is fine with me.

Nothing wrong with being different.

Not my bag, baby!

But to each his own lester.

Don't trade a PRS for it though. Keep it and use it as a boat paddle.

Later...

I think the weight of an LP would snap that little man like a twig. (not that he isn't a great musician...)

And what condition is the PRS?

Serious enquiry. Also, what do you expect to pay for the Gibson?

email me if you are serious, please.
