Congrats. Maybe just me, but I haven't seen a lot of 335 Blocks in Figured Natural. Looks good!

Looks great - is that one of the flamed 335 60s models Gibson USA is producing? If so, I’ve played a few they are nice.

Not my rug. It’s a sellers pic.
I figured that. What I first saw it, I was like, woah that’s a strange rug. But the more I looked at this thread it started growing on me. Imagine what the rest of that guy’s house looks like?

Imagine seeing open Lifton case pink sitting on that rug!

It might even be a bedspread. I imagine this guy’s home look like an Austin Powers set.

Well I didn’t bond with its tone. It’s playability is good and has a strong acoustic tone, but amplified the neck pup is mainly muddy unless full on clean. The bridge is on the thin side and at times strident. Reminds me of a Norlin era tone I had before with TTops.

Rather than move it on, I decided to invest in it. Just ordered some Dr Vintage pups from Wolfetone and a wiring harness from RS.

That should change it.

Guess I’m not a TTop fan.

That's a great upgrade. Let us know how the modifications go, and if your are feeling generous document the change, fishing wires and all... Good luck.

Well the pups arrived a while ago, but the wiring harness came yesterday. Dropping it off at the luthier today. Will also get a new nut cut as this one is cut for 11s. Going down from that gauge.
