Most certainly! When I took it in yesterday, the owner was there. He played it unplugged and agreed its a great guitar. When I told him what I paid for it I thought he was going to sh1t right there.

People seem to love these calibrated T pups, but something wasn’t right in the whole equation for me. Hopefully when it done it performs they way I envision.

Well got the 335 back yesterday. Have not had a chance to play it. Luthier said when he pulled out the originals, they were wired out of phase I told him put the new stuff in phase.
I'll get a chance hopefully to give it a try later this afternoon.

Well I’m scratching my head (in a good way). Took it in and showed him what was happening. He ran the toggle switch back and forth quickly. Placed it in middle position to tap test both pups. Yep we are good now.

Only thing I can think of is it was not fully engaging initially in the neck position.

What was his explanation as to what happened and why? Would be good to know.

They have a luthier and a guitar tech. The guitar tech was there today. He scratched his head as well. Even said all I did was move the switch back and forth. He heard it live that before the neck pup was 99% dead.

Sounds like the toggle switch needs contact cleaner and possibly re-bent leafs.
