I have a set of the original Dr. V WOLFETONE pickups in a replica and I love them, about a month ago I played an R7 that had been refined to a burst pattern and that guitar had the same series pickups, I was astonished on how good they sounded in a different guitar. All the same tone variables I have with my guitar. It's been years since I bought them, 04-05ish?
Anyone else still use them and like them.

While I don't have the pleasure of owning a set of Dr. V's, my two Gibbys (an R0 and Historic SG) both sport Wolfetones; a set of Legends in the SG and Marshallheads with A4 mags (thanks to Throbak) in the R0. I love them both, and neither set is ever coming out.

I hae a set in my '73 Deluxe. They have aged well. I get a good amount of "bloom" in the background. Add just a touch of reverb and you can sink for miles...
