Hello all,

I'm looking at some PAFs, and found a couple for sale, but I've never seen the stickers placed off to the side like this. Do they look legit to you?

Thanks,
Brad

To my eyes they look fine. It has been my experience that the funny placement of PAF stickers/decals just as in the photo you've posted occur in guitars made in 1961-1962.

The decals look okay and there's the L tool marks on the feet of the pups also.
Looks as though one of them is from a Custom(has the gold screws).
Do you know what the k ohm resistance reading is of each one?
And are they short or long magnet?

I don't know which is which, but one reads 7.5k and the other is 8.1k. They have short magnets. Since they don't have covers, what do you think a fair price would be, around $3000 to $3500?
Thanks,
Brad

IMO, that would be a good price for the pair. I regularly see unopened, nickel plated, double blacks, short or long magnet, getting $5,000 / pair and a little more on eBay.

Thanks for the help, gents. I went ahead and bought them. Unfortunately, it will be at least a week before I can try them. The guitar I'm putting them in is getting refretted as we speak.
Thanks,
Brad
