Following the death of John Bonham Led Zeppelin ceased to exist.

Presented with a reunion opportunity for the 2007 tribute concert for Ahmet Ertegun, Page was determined to right previous wrongs.

“Initially there were going to be two nights, with us on one night, along with other Atlantic artists. The idea was that we would do a half-hour set, but I said, ‘I’m not rehearsing to do a half-hour set!’ “I thought, ‘We’re gonna go out there and stand proud, you know?’ So that means we’ve got to do a proper set, and that’s what we did.”

The lighting makes it look like Mr. Page is playing a Honeyburst colored Gibson Les Paul but his Signature Les Paul is Sunburst. Anybody know which guitars he used? Was it the 59 sunburst and the lighting? I saw the new Gibson black beauty on one song

In his Anthology book, Page complained that they should have done more than one reunion concert. And he’s right — according to Rolling Stone, Cream’s reunion consisted of four nights at the Royal Albert Hall, and three at Madison Square Garden in America. It would have been awesome if Zep had done at least one reunion concert in the States as well.

They should have done a real 50 date tour. If Plant was worried about his voice.
I am sure they could have made a compromise of some kind.

I don`t think the world would have expected Robert to have the voice of a 20year old.

But maybe I am wrong and there were other reasons.

And Page with The Black Crowes was killer.
Maybe better than what a older Led Zeppelin would have been.
