Akstrat61's coffee and mugs arrived today! You guys would not believe how good this coffee smells. I'll grind some in the morning!
That said, it's time for Pay It Forward #7.
It's kind of difficult to find something that everyone wants, so I'm going to give you a choice:
Package #1: First up, the "5E3 Tweed Deluxe" tinkerer's kit -- Which is two NOS tubes -- a JAN 5751 for V2, and a Sylvania 5Y3GT for the rectifier.
Package #2: A set of Burstbucker pickups that came out of my 2012 R9 when I sent it to Historic Makeovers (they installed Throbak 101+'s). I did try them in my '62 SG, but I was really going for a more modern tone, and eventually swapped them out for some Seymour Duncan Slash Alnico 2 Pro's -- very different animal. These would definitely sound nice in something with more wood.
And finally, Package #3: A brand new set of nickel Grovers. They were originally slated for that '62 SG, but it likes to "neck dive" enough without adding 6 ounces of hardware on the headstock, so on my shelf they sit.
And there you have it. I guess I'll close this one on April 15th, so at least one of us will have good news on "tax day." International or Domestic shipping is included, so all please feel free to say "I'm in."
Thanks,
Triburst
