Greetings fellow LPForumites! Since I won the TC HOF Mini pedal (...dal...dal) in the last Pay It Forward thread (thank you SAM!), it's now my turn to offer something up to the forum in return. So here goes:
Here we have a vintage (30+ years old) Celestion 10" model 7601 ceramic guitar speaker...not exactly the coveted 7442 model, but near as dammit to it! Sounds wonderful - I had it installed in a Marshall JTM-1C anniversary combo (now sold) and it rocked!
Pics here:

Here are the specs:
Model: 7601
Impedence: 15 ohms
Power handling: 10-15w
Cone Code: LN1B418
I emailed Celestion's Dr. Decibel about the speaker, and here was the reply:
Sorry we don’t hold any info on these CT speakers. From the cone code it is a 10x1” speaker so power handling will be around 10-15W but go easy as it’s at least 30 years old. It’s going to be similar to the Marshall 7442 as it uses the same cone and presumably voice coil but I really can’t tell you any more. Sorry, I hope this is of some use.
So, if you'd like this awesome 10" Celestion sent to you at no charge, just post in the thread and I'll randomly pick a winner the evening of October 12th. Good luck!
