Phase switch

I've had a phase/toggle switch installed on several of my electrics and like it.
Problem is, now I have an 07' DCPro that I absolutely love and the only way I can think to put a phase switch is to make one of the pots Push-Pull.
Is changing a pot gonna make a difference in the straight sound of this axe ? I love the straight tone but also like the variety of using a phase switch.
Any opinions out there ???

No, in phase will sound exactly the same as it did pre-mod (assuming it's all done right).

I had CTS push pull pots in a standard, one for coil splitting and one for phase and I did not notice any adverse tone. I had 2 standards at the time and one was stock.

FWIW, I have the magnet flipped (ala Peter Green) on the neck p'up in my Custom and it is a different out of phase sound when I use the middle position. I don't know why, but it sounds much much better than just using a phase switch.

I put a phase shift on my Schecter PT recently. Gives it a nice quack in the middle position - lovin' it. I much prefer the out of phase middle to the in phase.
