• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Photos from Philadelphia (and my cool purchase :P)

So I went to Philadelphia today and had a few guitars I was looking for. I really wanted a Byrdland/ES-350T and found one the price was perfect on but it had a bad refret and some broken binding and I'm just not looking for something I have to do that much work on. Didn't see any Strat Ultra models (the 80s one) but I didn't really think I would.

Anyway, I bought a Gibson EB2, which I've wanted for a long time. I was in an antique store a few months back and bought a home made bass that has all the parts on it for $180, so I figure I can sell those parts now. I wish it were cherry but it's still cool!

The switch is broken so if anyone knows where I could get a switch tip and pickguard I would appreciate it!

I was looking for a Byrdland, nice Gibson or Martin acoustic or ES-175 so my pictures are a little skewed that way. I tried to get some things everyone would like.

There was also a table for a Les Paul Forum but I figured others would have pics of that. I didn't stop there.

Nice. There's a small-ish show my way next week. Planning on hitting it up to see what's there. I have a couple peices I may bring along to see what I can get for them. Not being forced to move anything, but we'll see what happens.

Also, thanks for the pictures! They’re always a treat!

I didn't see any ES-350T models but I came close to buying a Byrdland. It looked great but it had a really weird fret job on it and the binding on the neck had been cracked in a few places. The pickguard also had some issues, which was less of a big deal. It was in the $3500 range, which made it tempting, but I just am not looking for projects right now and had I gotten it home maybe I would have discovered more issues.

I don't. I know it was being sold by a store in Arkansas.
