• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

I just got my 2018 R9. It has the Gibson Custom sticker on the guard. My 2009 and 2016 did not have that on them. I hate to lose it but realize it can't stay there. So what do y'all do with that sticker?

Here is my new 2018 on the left next to my 2009 Ltd Ed R9 on the right.

And here she is alone:

Mine wasn’t even a sticker. It was the cling type that could be reused. I just put it in the fold of the other tags that came with the guitar.

I’d put them in the fold of one of the other tags/brochures that comes with the guitar and keep them in the case compartment. Careful, they tend to wander around in the case pocket.

I stick mine in the COA.

Put it in a Baggie.

Put in all the case paper like Bumblebee equipped, factory checklist etc.

Stick it in my safe.

Cuss every time I have to get to something else in my safe like passport or birth certificate because of all the Baggies full of COA-Sticker-Case_papers that fall out of it when I open the door.

Cuss, stuff back in, repeat.

I stick mine to the back of the laminated card that comes attached to the case handle, and keep it with the rest of the paperwork. It can be reapplied to the pickguard if you ever want to sell the guitar

Put it on the inside of the control cavity cover. That is one of the best ways to ensure it stays with the guitar.

I put it in my mouth for 20 minutes once a day. You can literally taste Page tone. :spabout
