• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

I’m not gonna lie. Half the reason I come here is to drool over Les Paul pics. I’m sure this has been done before, but post your LP family photos here. I love seeing pics of other people’s collections. If you want to include other Gibsons, that’s fine, but we should probably stick to Les Pauls (and mainly Custom Shop/Historic models). And also pick your favorite, if you can.

From L to R: 2003 ‘57 Goldtop (w/ Brazilian board); 2015 ‘68 Custom TH VOS; 2018 ‘59 Reissue w/ Brazilian board; and 2003 ‘59 Reissue w/ Brazilian board (in order of my first to most recent). These pics don’t do my 2018 R9’s top any justice, but you get the idea. Hard to pick a favorite, but I might have to go with the 2018 right now. Last week I would have told you the R7. It’s a beast.

That '18 R9 is definitely the shit, man! :wow .. You mentioned that pics don't do it justice, and that is EXACTLY what you want in an Historic burst, visually, because that is EXACTLY what happens with most original Bursts! .. Never the same face twice. It's like trying to find a needle in a stack of needles! :hee

Dayum Duane!

OCD much?

No OCD here brother... just making sure all the pointers point to "0" when they're off and "10" when they're dimed... I totally freak when the numbers don't line up... nothing OCR about that, you just never know when you need them to be lined up or when the inspector's gonna drop by.

Oh, and spiders, making sure there are no spiders on them... I've never seen one before but the little suckers are tricksy and those big African spiders can do some damage. So, you know, better safe than sorry. Am I right? :spabout

But seriously, the SG is killer.

Thanks! It's a Derek Trucks Sig with David Allen Tru59 PAFs... sounds killer!!!

Damn dude... this is SOME of the gang?!? This is what I aspire to have one day. That’s the problem with Les Pauls... you can’t just have one. Or two. Or three...

Or 50 or 60... :laugh2:

Now here’s the real question: which one is your favorite? The best of the bunch???

That changes quite frequently, but as of this moment its the Aged Goldie with Wizz Ltd. Ed. Vintage Wire PAFs (with Vintage 1962 SG PAF Mags)... other contenders are the Aged Allman, Pearly Gates & the Beast. :salude
