• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

If there’s any one from UK wanting a 64 theres one on ebay, 2020, very good price. Tempted, but really after 61 profile and dots.

Be very careful - that's Justin Harrison, convicted vintage guitar crook, selling that one!! Plenty of information on the internet about the MusicGround/Harrison back story.

Interesting. How can you tell? For me the price and “private seller” were red flags.

Presuming we're talking about the same guitar on Ebay uk - the cherry 64 Bigsby priced at £14,999. I don't see another.

The seller information on the listing is J Harrison at Hanks, Denmark Street. The listing is under londonvintagegtrs. Its all the same outfit as traded under the MusicGround company name a few years ago and were convicted of handling stolen vintage guitars. If you google 'Justin Harrison MusicGround' the grisly story is all there.

That's not to say that all of their merchandise is bent, but many knowledgable UK collectors will not go near them.

Ah. Different guitar. Much more modestly pricEd. It was a 64 reissue 2020, 4.5 new, sold for around 3.2. This is a big drop. I Am not cruising eBay for 15k guitars, it will only lead to disappointment.

Apologies for the confusion - I was looking at the vintage 64 not the re-issue 64 on Ebay uk. My comments stand if anyone is looking at the £14,999 guitar though!!

I'd appreciate it if those of you with 1964 ES335 Reissues would mind posting some neck measurements. The four measurements I'd find most useful are:

Width at nut
Width at 12th fret
Depth at first fret (from top of fretboard to back of neck, just above the fret)
Depth at 12th fret

Thanks in advance!

To me the only difference in choosing a re-issue guitar based on the year is: does the neck profile feel right to you? Does the guitar feel good in your hands? I own a original 64 (bought years back, and yes, feel lucky) and own plenty of re-issue les pauls over the years- dont buy a re-issue for the year, buy it for if you like it- just my opinion
