Has anyone looked into these lately?
I played one ages ago and really liked it, it's been low-key on my radar for a while.
A few years aso, though, they were going for around $1600 or more, depending on the configuration,
Now they're going for a grand.
Has there been any changes that explain the price drop - are they build overseas like the Sonzera series?
|I'll have to check on out, but I'm considering moving on from my Marshall 4100 / JCM900 for this one.

I had the 50 watt combo for a while. Got it used for well under a grand. I was impressed with it. The cleans were better than you usually get on an amp capable of pretty high gain on the other side. I liked the dirty side as well. Overall it was better than a lot of upper tier amps I've owned. YMMV.
Nice responsive controls and the weight wasn't too bad. I didn't keep it because I decided to go all heads and smaller cabs (cuz I'm old.)
