• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Hello,
My new LP was not staying in tune and I didn’t like the steep angle the strings were between the tail piece and the bridge. I found out that some people run the strings over the top of the tail piece. I like this method. Now she stays in tune.

Yes, it’s called ‘top wrapping’ and I do the same to any TOM guitars that I’ve owned. Now I have a Junior, so it too is ‘top wrapped’. lol
