Does anybody know what type of pickups they are putting in these. Are they using the Burst buckers? What color are they under the covers?

Dave: Is it a Custom Authentic? If so, they are supposed to be Burst Buckers.

Yes.... But then again how can I tell? Considering what they have been putting in the other reissues.

if it's an authentic it should have the burst-buckers (black and white) I don't think they've been putting black/white '57s in the reissues, other than authentics, but i could be wrong.
