• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Real Vintage Fender amps. Please post here without fear.

Just leave them in the truck. I'll take the whole shootin' match.

Here is a new amp in the herd this year. It is a '61 (D 004XX) Brownface Deluxe that's guts appear to be original. Seems to be fitting in perfectly.

I post this without ANY fear at all. I've only lost a couple of vintage amps to the pool.

'58 Harvard, missing original alnico Jensen now fitted with alnico Weber

'76 Dual Showman Reverb, exact same circuit as Twin Reverb. Found it in a store a few years ago. Very clean, still has original RCA tubes, a little old lady only played it on sundays.

this little one made a good trip last month from USA to France : '65 Vibro Champ
still has Fender Electric Instruments on the panel and the tube chart, but also have a logo on the grill and a Fender Musical Instrument badged speaker.
it's in great shape, i think nobody ever opened it since it left Fullerton ... i just replaced the power cord, two electrolytic caps and 3 resistors. it runs smoothly and sounds great, bright and punchy.

Got my 1960 re-tweeded bassman today! Not as sexy as my tremolux but it's one the best sounding amps I've ever heard. I'll try to get a picture up in a day or two. :dude::hank
