Rick: You came up with the most famous chord in rock history.

David: "Technically speaking, arpeggio..."

There's something here!

I love Mr Gilmour's work with the Floyd up to The Wall, which I saw at Earls Court in 1980(?) and remains as one of the most complete live performances of anything I've ever seen...absolutely phenominal.

Frankly he should have left it there.

His solo stuff leaves me stone tepid, and the torpor he displays in interview is personally reciprocated.

I think he’s trying to normalise a life that’s been overtaken by stardom.. much like all the aged stars.

David moved on from singing about teenage angst and Roger Water's anger and spite for the world. I, for one, am glad.

Fair enough Bob.

I for one am bored to tears by Mr Gilmour's output post the anger and spite of Pink Floyd.

Each to one's own.

Although I'm a Dave Gilmour and Rick Beato fan I found this interview a bit dull.
We watched the Rick Wakeman interview which was for more interesting

Agreed to a degree but David is 78, and I never thought of him as kind of a party king.
Humble, intelligent and a helluva gifted musician. I for 1 think it was a very interesting interview.

The Wakeman interview was superb.. a great insight to the early studio musician days in London..
