Do we know what happened? I am kind of weirded out that Ween is not a household name.
I don`t like everything they did.
But they did make a lot of first class music, not far away from Beatles quality.

I agree, their albums always have great songwriting, great production, and as a guitarist to me great tone.

And we had everything else.... He-Man... Transformers... McDonalds... and Roy Orbison.

Also fast old American Muscle Cars.

I cannot stand predatory capitalism.

But social democracy really worked in scandinavia and europe. When I grew up (born 1979) and earlier.

You could work in a factory afford a new house have two cars and the lady could in most cases (not all) be home with the kids.
Or you could start a business and work your behind off and have a lot of money.
