• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Outstanding clip … I would think you could sell a bunch of those amps
Actually I did sell a couple. Ultimately I converted mine back to stock 6G4-a. The thing was, the 6G3 channel was SO MUCH more powerful than the vibrato channel...it was too "unbalanced" for me. Gave me a real appreciation for a) how much life the vibrato circuit sucks out of the amp and b) how much difference a simple pre-amp can make ;)

Bought this '61 about 10 years ago from Charlie Gelber. Because the headstock was broken off, it has a replace neck made from old growth mahogany w/ a '59 profile and all else is original including the fret board & binding. Plays and sounds fabulous. I've never found anything as good as this in the reissue market.

Don't think anyone posted a studio yet? This is my 2016 ES-335 Studio. I'm surprised how good this really is. Definitely not a second class citizen in a sea of 335s. Not at all like other Gibson studio models. Great bang for the buck. All construction and build quality of a standard 335.

Agreed - I've also got one of these (a 2017). This era Memphis 335 Studio is a great 335.

I added a pickguard, reflectors, and amber switch tip to mine.
