Always thought life ended after the tailpiece.
I always thought life starts with the right tailpiece.Always thought life ended after the tailpiece.
I’ve tried it before.. but I didn’t like it.. too bendy for me.. as I’m definitely not a guitar gymnastsI'm a top-wrapper, me...

Bonjour.
But top wrappers pull up to the proverbial bumpers, mate!
Bonjour.
Ah yes.. this was mentioned above.. I’ll keep an eye on it.. tbh.. I will try and set it so the strings are just above the abr..Be mindful of excess string pressure touching on the rear of bridge, not only because of the longer-term bridge collapse, but possible intermediate or short-term post lean on historic reissues.
On closer inspection the strings were just above the abr.. (could slip paper between abr and strings) but I did just raise both bridge and tail slightly (more on the lower E side) .. and it’s better.. not so slappy now.. that said..the bottom E is a bit flappy above the twelfth fret.. but this is normal for low action..and pros don’t start runs on the low e anyway lol..Ah yes.. this was mentioned above.. Appreciate the advice JB ️

I’ve been fiddling with it all day.. think I’m nearly done tbh..The low E on all my Gibsons touches the back of the ABR. I would not worry about it. So you slammed the tail piece while in your pants. Sounds uncomfortable.
It's a Gallic cultural thing, you wouldn't understand...All this slamming...so violent.
Avec!!!It's a Gallic cultural thing, you wouldn't understand...
