Yes, sore neck.
So I am 59, not exactly a model of physical fitness…more of a poster boy for couch potatoes.
I have returned to my musical ways after years of not playing and I find myself getting a sore neck, the degree of which is directly proportional to hours spent playing the previous day. And as I’m on vacation at home right now that’s a lot of hours some days. The neck is really sore this morning and actually becoming a headache.
I am sure it’s from looking down at my guitar as I play, and down at the pedal board at times. I don’t think it’s the Les Paul hanging on my shoulder as I mostly sit on a stool, although it may be a bit of the standing. LP’s aren’t known for being lightweight.
My question is, has anyone else experienced the same thing and what did you do for it?
