Anyone else played one of these? Really great guitar for the price.

So here are my two SQJMJMs. I figured I'd keep one stock while modding the other as to compare.
It's interesting the difference between the two. One has a lighter fretboard, lighter anodized guard, lighter amber on the neck and a lighter off white finish. Currently the "darker" one is getting the mods. But just to preface, the first one that I got, I pulled it right out of a cardboard box, no case, tuned it up and took it straight to a rehearsal where it did great as is. That said, so far I've done the following:

• Bone nut
• CTS 250K pots
• .047 Orange Drop cap
• Switchcraft 335 style PU selector
• Switchcraft output jack
• Lollar P90 JM pickups

All of these mods have been very positive. I know for sure I'll be doing the bone nut and pots/switch/jack upgrade to the other. Probably new pickups as well, though I really like the stock Squires. Possibly regular Lollar JMs, though. One of them will be getting a custom pick guard, not sure which yet.

Yes, they are great guitars for the price.
I have mine for a couple months now. Played good right out of the box.
As for the pickguard, i would go with a tortoise one.

Nobi, I think I've seen you on other forums. Is that purple Tele body from MJT?
