• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

On Tuesday, Elon Musk launched a Tesla Roadster into orbit. Yes, an actual car launched at a speed of 18,000 mph and was cruising around Earth. The car caught a ride into space with SpaceX’s Falcon Heavy rocket and the spaceman mannequin is actually jamming out to David Bowie's "Starman".

It is cool. But if we announce ourselves to the universe, what if the aliens just kill us and eat us? And take over our planet? I suppose we have already announced ourselves with other probes.

This is probably the most incredible thing anyone has ever accomplished. The guy sent his own car into orbit playing rock and roll with the top down. The sky is no longer the limit!:jim

We've been beaming tv and radio signals through space for 70 years or so. In the series "Cosmos" Neil Degrasse Tyson explained how far our signals have gone by this time.

How many believe Nasa landed on the Moon SIX TIMES while Nixon was president? Claims of sending cars into space are nothing new. Three of the six claimed Moon landings took cars.

Extra lightweight "rovers" foldable for the tiny available space.

This rocket is a heavy lifter. The car was a standard streetworthy roadster, right off the assembly line.

We don't really have anything here on this planet that dosent exist in abundance in space, be it water minerals alloys etc.

The one thing the aliens might want to look at is the different genome system we have here and how it's different to other planets with life.

The Lunar rover was a Chrysler Jeep frame just like the Army used in WW2. It was hardly lightweight. The two astronauts it carried weighed 600lbs alone with their suits. Nasa claims they drove 12 miles round trip. Think how much the batteries weighed to power the car that far in loose sand.
Go study Apollo. You're in for a real shock.

I watched Apollo 11 take off from Cape Kennedy in 69. My dad and uncle were big Air Force brass.
I believed we landed on the Moon 44 years before I woke up and saw the truth. It took me 6 mos to figure it out once I started looking closer. When I did realize the truth I became depressed for two months. I was also very angry my Dad had gone to his grave believing a lie. He was very proud of Nasa. There are probably 20mil Americans who now know Nasa is fake. That's why they have SpaceX today. Be careful with SpaceX too. Even Elon Musk says it looks fake. Hint, hint, nudge, nudge, wink, wink.
