• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

I thought they had switched to brass but just re-strung my 2021 '58 V reissue and checked the wheels, and they are magnetic. I guess it's possible they switched to brass on the nickel plated wheels only? Also, while they do stick to a magnet they are not as strongly magnetic as a set of Callaham steel wheels I have. Kind of interesting.

Probably a 300 series stainless steel they’re using. Like 304. That’s magnetic while 316 and 347 aren’t exactly magnetic
