They lean more toward fashion style than guitar tone. I find it a finicky guitar as far as tuning and they need those double ball end strings. But it turns out on the plus side it's a good travel guitar if you just want to noodle during down time.

IMO they are too costly for what you get. ( with the exception of the spirit series which I wouldn't want). I don't find them preferable to several other less costly brands.
