• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

I've a really nice ( and clean) 59 Jr. Owned it for a good 20 years.
I play out a lot, but never take it because I don't like where the strap mounts to the guitar.
I've always wanted to move it to the point on the bass side cutaway, so the guitar would hang like the rest of my LPs.

I like my stuff clean and original, but this badass guitar stays at home.
What to do?!?!?

Put the strap on and play the guitar a lot while standing and get used to it. The quirks of some guitars are one of the things that make them so cool and make YOU play them differently. This is a good thing, but may take a little time and work to learn how to adapt to it. :salude

P.S. Take that one out and play it!
