• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

So I bought a pre-owned Swart AST a little over a year ago and I guess I had been playing it a lot during Covid times as this year the tubes started going one by one (the previous owner claimed the tubes were practically brand new when I purchased it!). A month ago I just replaced all of them on the advice of Kelly at Swart who said just do it yourself. And wow it's like night and day, this is now one of the best sounding smaller amps I've played and I'm in love. I also placed it on an Auralex GRAMMA isolation platfoam to get it off of the floor which has helped to give it the amp more focus and clarity. Who else has had a game-changing experience with this boutique bad boy?

Congrats! I considered buying an AST several times, but for some unexplained reason I never pulled the trigger.

They are a bit pricy but if you pull the trigger you won't regret it! Sometimes simple designs are the best.
