Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!
Just found out Taylor Hawkins of The Foo Fighter has died at the age of 50. No cause of death so far. This sucks. I’m tired of loosing people I admired. I’m gonna miss that infectious smile.
RIP Taylor Hawkins. One of the best contemporary rock drummers, but so much more... singer and all-around talent. Check out Coattail Riders albums for some good fun.
Unexpected and so terrible. So sad, he leaves a family, and was an integral part of the Foos.
I hope more details emerge so we can see what befell him. He was ostensibly in great shape and not suffering from any chronic condition that'd place him at-risk.
Was it RnR lifestyle misadventures? An undiagnosed or undisclosed disease, or sudden attack?
Or perhaps he suffered the fate of many young soccer stars and others getting the gene manipulation therapies?
Very very tragic nonetheless and he'll be missed by many.
Colombia's Attorney General's Office released a preliminary "forensic medical study" Saturday following the death of Foo Fighters' drummer Taylor Hawkins.
The report said a urine toxicology test was carried out on Hawkins and 10 substances were found, including THC, tricyclic antidepressants, benzodiazepines and opioids.
Taylor Hawkins was an excellent drummer, and I am glad he left behind a great legacy in The Foo Fighters. It’s also a wake up call to not let drugs take over your life, even by accident.
