The Case of the Will He / Won't He Explorer.

I'm a jerk, and this isn't an excuse for ping ponging someone around.

I had some major surgery last week and decided not to order a lefty Explorer that I was on the list for at SW, for months. My wallet scared me into canceling. Well, that wasn't enough, I decided after all, now that I'm almost all poppie concoctions, I have to have the guitar.

Well, what will the poor rep do? I'd actually call to hear the crazy. He and I actually spoke last week, and I told him what was going on with me. Very nice guy. I will call him tomorrow and have a chat with him. I've bought a lot of stuff from him. He appreciates it, and I think he'll be understanding.

Will he let me have the one coming in on Tuesday or Wednesday? Or is he going to say, "Enough" and pass me onto someone who hate customers. Or will he say, "Sorry man, you lost your place in line."? I'd be tempted to say it if I were him.

I grabbed the Natural Explorer / Aged Cherry V pair in 2018 when they were spec'd in torrefied granadillo, and have been well pleased with them, despite rosewood appearing the next year.

I think if you have been a good customer of your rep who as you say you have purchased a lot of stuff from , then I can't think of a reason why he would not want to help you out and complete this purchase .As I am sure the rep is working on commission so it's a win win for both of you .
