A few years back I posted here about selling Bob his '58 special at Top Gear Music in London .
Author Tony Bacon recently contacted myself and several other ex Top Gear staffers for info on this piece in Reverb, the most detailed account of the guitar and its history yet .
It's also great to see Top Gear getting the credit it deserves , so much rock history came out of that little joint yet most of the press stories about the West End scene in the '70s have focused on Selmers and Sound City. https://www.facebook.com/Top-Gear-Music-London-289183784906634

The Definitive Story of Bob Marley’s Les Paul Special
First owned by Marc Bolan, modded by Dan Armstrong, and repaired by Roger Mayer, Marley's guitar was a thoroughly special Les Paul Special.
