• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Although it seems like they agree to a general consensus, I get the implication everyone seems to have their own (and differing) opinions of what goes into a good burst tone, even though they're not too vocal about it individually.

This video was enjoyable to watch, but I was amazed at how little they actually talked about how the guitars sound! And no one played a guitar at all, except for the guy on the far left who picked at one acoustically a bit. Instead, they spent a lot of time talking about things like plastic color and binding. None of that means anything if the guitar does not sound good. I would have liked to have heard them plug the guitars in and show what they all sound like, then plug in a burst to see how similar/different it sounds.
