• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Must admit I am surprised this thread is still open. Are there special rules for some people?
Some posts have now been deleted. So maybe there is some deeper thinking going on.

But yes, there is no valid point to this thread. Other than picking on the British, which makes no sense.

Well being British, I don't like being picked on.

Why is thread still open? Special rules?

Being British I don't actually like any fooker.

As to being picked on....I'll quote the Scottish play...

......before my body
I throw my warlike shield. Lay on Macduff,
and damn'd be him that first cries, Hold, enough "

You can tell a Brit anywhere, you can also tell them fuck all.

Ah, the British spirit is not all but forsaken. Indeed, throw your warlike shields, heed not the premonitory prevarications and vanquish the trifling magnates that seek to fetter the masses!

People being people, I bet the same discussion was going on during the Black Plague:

“How can we haberdash with these infernal isolation rules? I’d rather take my chances with this overrated illness than lose me livelihood due to the petty tyranny of the elites! Freedom!!!”

Probably. But...The Plague killed 33% of Europe. THIRTY THREE%. That’s a pandemic! The Spanish Flu killed 3-4%. A number that’s still debated today. This has -allegedly- killed about .05%. My point is, the lethality does not seem to match up with the draconian lockdown measures of healthy people.

Dang it! Maybe our great, great, great, grandkids will resurrect live music on Earth.

“Several government advisers have called for coronavirus restrictions to continue
F O R E V E R, not just to defend against COVID, but also to fight influenza.”

Hmmm... our Brit colleagues deserve better respect than this thread.

"Questionable Source - A questionable source exhibits one or more of the following: extreme bias, consistent promotion of propaganda/conspiracies, poor or no sourcing to credible information, a complete lack of transparency and/or is fake news. Fake News is the deliberate attempt to publish hoaxes and/or disinformation for the purpose of profit or influence. Sources listed in the Questionable Category may be very untrustworthy and should be fact-checked on a per-article basis. Please note sources on this list are not considered fake news unless specifically written in the reasoning section for that source."

Overall, we rate Summit News Questionable based on Extreme Right-wing bias, promotion of conspiracies, misleading and unproven stories, and a complete lack of transparency.

My bassist is completing 4 weeks in Intensive Care, due to COVID. Sedated. Induced ventilation. Kidneys beginning to fail. Doctors struggling to keep a secondary pneumonia under control. Waiting for tracheo when his blood pressure lowers a bit.

No, I don't think I am "not living" by waiting until everything is indeed under control and people stop suffering and dying with this shit.

That's all I have to say.

Same message, better suited channel...(for some)

“The channel is viewed by some in the media establishment as an impartial and unbiased provider of news.[

A UK government minister suggested that it was perfectly plausible a new lockdown could be imposed in the near future, before the current one has even officially ended.”

Much like CA, enjoy that one month of lifted restrictions. This is NOT about biology!

Don't worry, we realise that the good Doc is merely externalising his deep insecurities. He's also a cock.
I like Doc, I like you, I like everybody and get a kick out of ALL VIEWPOINTS. It is what keeps us from being mindless zombies. That said:

WHERE THE FOOK HAVE YOU BEEN?
Does it still take weeks or months to send mail from the Southern Hemi?
Are you now sitting on the back of a turtle in the middle of the ocean knitting man-o-war tentacles into a mask?
Have the strange flightless birds bitten off yer nutsack?

Have you gotten used to their version of catsup yet?
