• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

Paul Rodgers is one of my favorite vocalists in rock music, and I always loved his work as the lead singer of Free, Bad Company and Queen.
He also has played guitars, bass guitar, keyboards, harmonica, accordion and tambourine.

I usually stalk Equipboard and decided to look, once and for all, at Paul Rodgers guitars.

This picture shows Paul Rodgers playing a red Gibson Eb-3 Bass (it might actually be the one that Andy Fraser played, which also appears on the front cover of Best Of Free)

Geez, look at that hair! This photo had to have been taken while he was still in Free!

That's all I've got to say about Paul Rodgers! Freddie Mercury once said that Paul Rodgers was one of his favorite vocalists, which was probably why Paul Rodgers was recruited to join Queen in the first place. I own several Bad Company and Free albums, and I "can't get enough" of how powerful Paul Rodgers vocals are. And the musicianship: Simon Kirke, Paul Kossoff, Boz Burrell and Andy Fraser.

Paul Rodgers also uses Marshall amps, and has played several Strats, but that's about it! His voice is still supreme in his old age. I'm glad I learned about Paul Rodgers through my parents, because he is a genius singer. I think he has left behind a huge legacy.

But I hope you enjoy these pictures of Paul Rodgers and his Gibsons. Please let me know more about these guitars.

Not many are better than PR! To me, he rivaled Steve Marriott in the vocals department and again, to me, that's typing something!

Re the "hair" picture you posted; looks like Mick Ralphs in the background, so if that's the case, it was probably during the Bad Company era.
