• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

They're here!

And I'm almost done installing them. It's a shame I won't be able to play them tonight, but, I think i'll play sick tomorrow. Here's a preview. Jon Gundry deserves some type of award for this.

Tone report and more pics tomorrow.

I hope I can do a soundclip tonight after work. Played them a lil bit this morning and it was just insane. Can someone say "clarity". The feel, the swell of the note is amazing.

Well the video thing isn't happening right now. sux. But the Throbaks are fantastic Pups. I have some slight adjusting to do with the height but, every note sparkles. It has everything that your looking for as far as a legit PAF clone. The neck is clear as heck. I can hear every string while hitting a chord. My BB's would sound like mush, mudd, crap. The center pos. gives me a nice articulate tone and feel. The FEEL of these pickups makes me play a bit different too. I find myself holding bends bc the vibrato sounds so good on these. The bridge is mean. Just like it should be. play it soft and it has a sparkly sound. Play it hard and it turns into a monster. Again, sorry about the vid situation.

Here are some pics of her dressed up...
