• Guys, we've spent considerable money converting the Les Paul Forum to this new XenForo platform, and we have ongoing monthly operating expenses. THE "DONATIONS" TAB IS NOW WORKING, AND WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY DONATIONS YOU CAN MAKE TO KEEP THE LES PAUL FORUM GOING! Thank you!

How do you fix your vintage pots when they are scratchy or making signal loss - as treble loss etc on your high value Gibsons? Do you spray them with electric cleaningspray or will you advice against it?

Spraying with switch cleaner will do no harm, just spray a small amount into the pot and turn it a few times. Just make sure you use proper switch cleaner, this evaporates and leaves no residue, don't use WD40 or anything that leaves a residue.
